Porsha Hernandez is a senior journalism major at the University of Memphis with double minors in public relations and creative mass media. She is a first-generation college student. Porsha loves finding new stories to tell, playing piano, and baking. She currently holds executive positions for both, the Black Student Association and P.A.U.S.E (Professional, Assertive, United, Sisters of Excellence) at the UofM. Porsha is Miss Delta Nu and Miss Southwestern Region 1st runner-up for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. She is currently developing the non-profit organization ‘Project Tempo’ to assist Memphians experiencing homelessness.
